Great instructional DVD
This is a great DVD if you are new to paper clay - the instructions are detailed and clear. Being able to make and work with this clay will really expand the types of things I can do! I liked how the DVD showed several ways you could use the clay - with the artists demonstrating and explaining all the steps and techniques they were using as they went along. I'd say it was one of my better DVD purchases. Plus, there's some humor in it, so that's always fun!
excellent instruction in entertaining format
I am new to working with stoneware paper clay and other clay. But, after enjoying this DVD I feel like I have learned the basics required to work with paper clay and am excited to tackle my first project. I found the instructions to be extremely informative and complete, from making the paper clay itself, to working with it on a wheel, to using the coil technique, to troubleshooting common beginner issues. The demonstrations from start to finish were extremely valuable. I found the content easy to understand, and it is done in an entertaining manner, complete with 'Bruce', the Australian! The beautiful New Mexico scenery was also a plus. So, I highly recommend this DVD to anyone who wishes to make and work with paper clay.
