One of the finest videos of its kind
I am not exactly sure what category this film fits into. Perhaps it deserves a category of its own. When we chose to watch it, we expected just another travelogue. It does have many of the elements of the best travelogues, but it rises far above that level, including history and giving considerable insight into life in The Netherlands.
This is a very engaging, educational, and entertaining piece of work, all 85 minutes of it. One does not want it to end.
The narrator makes it even better with her flawless presentation and very pleasant voice and style.
Not very Dutch
Terrible narrating voice! Boring and not real Holland. What a waste of my time. Missed the boat. Lived in Holland and go back on a regular basis. Stay in Alphen aan de Ryn if you want to see the heart of Holland.
